Non-Credit Programs of Study

Information about non-credit programs of study is available at LoneStar.edu/programs-classes. Non-credit programs of study are designed for students who want to obtain career training for immediate employment in specific occupations and generally do not include transferable college credits.

Credit Programs of Study

Each workforce degree and certificate plan shows a recommended sequence of coursework based on a student’s interest and career goal. Credit programs of study are designed for students who want to join the workforce and may also provide transfer credits to some degree programs at four-year universities for students planning to continue their education to obtain a bachelor’s degree.
