ESOL 0381 - ESOL Oral Communication I

3 Credits (3 hrs. lec., 1 hr. lab.) In this course beginning English-language students learn the key vocabulary and structures necessary for adequate basic oral communication. Students refine listening and speaking skills and increase control of the English sound system to minimize miscommunication due to pronunciation. Students who enroll in this course should have basic literacy skills in their native language and be familiar with Roman script.
