PHYS 1402 - College Physics II 4 Credits (3 hrs. lec., 3 hrs. lab.) This course is a continuation of PHYS 1401 . Fundamental principles of physics, using algebra and trigonometry; the principles and applications of electricity and magnetism, including circuits, electrostatics, electromagnetism, waves, sound, light, optics, and modern physics topics; with emphasis on problem solving. Laboratory activities will reinforce fundamental principles of physics. This course is not for physical science and engineering majors but can serve as the physics requirement for the pre-professional medical programs.
