3 Credits (3 hrs. lec.) This course is an introduction to the basic elements of society. In looking at human behavior, this course includes an introduction to dynamics of society, culture, social groups, social institutions, socialization, social processes and social structure. 1 - Compare and contrast the basic theoretical perspectives of sociology.
2 - Identify the various methodological approaches to the collection and analysis of data in sociology.
