[AAS_LAWE offered at LSC-University Park]

Students must have completed the Basic Peace Officer series of courses before enrollment in the Law Enforcement AAS degree. Students are not able to pursue this degree unless they have completed an academy licensed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).

³Students may choose a 3 hour MATH elective, from the AAS Associate of Applied Science Core plus a 1 hour PHED course, or a 4 hour Life & Physical Sciences elective from the AAS Core.
