Graphic Design Program

Courses in the Graphic Design track emphasize conceptual communication and innovative designs by gaining an understanding of ideation, visual organization, typography, and production tools and technology. Students learn to design and/or create graphics to meet specific needs such as packaging, logos, displays, websites, publications and various digital media.

By Completing the program, students will earn as many as three awards:

Visual Communication, AAS

Prerequisite:  Completion of the Level 2 Certificate in one of the following areas: 3D Animation Program , Graphic Design Program Motion Graphics Program Multimedia Designer Program , Video and Post Production Program , Web Design Program  

Total Credit Hours Required for this Degree: 60

Digital Photography, Enhanced Skills Certificate (ESC)


[C3_DPHT certificate offered at LSC-CyFair, LSC-Kingwood, and LSC-North Harris]

This optional certificate program is available to students pursuing the Visual Communication AAS and desire to develop skills in digital photography. Completion of curriculum and awarding of certificate are concurrent with the Visual Communication AAS degree.
