3 Credits (2 hrs. lec., 3 hrs. lab.) This course provides an in-depth understanding of the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system with a specific focus on implementation and desktop support needs for the clients in a variety of stand-alone and network operating system environments. Topics covered include installation, user and group accounts, security, networking, TCP/IP, built in applications, and advanced configuration and troubleshooting techniques. This course prepares Information Technology professionals to plan, install, configure, implement, secure, support and manage Microsoft Windows 7. Prerequisite: ITNW 1325
