MUSC 1191 - Professional Development for Musicians

1 Credits (1 hr. lec., 2 hrs. lab.) This course will assist students in developing the critical skills required to be successful musicians in the professional world. Students will learn how to write professional résumés, CVs, cover letters, and bios; effective audition, rehearsal, and performance technique; and the basics of music law and music business. Prerequisite: Departmental approval; audition required.
