WLDG 1405 - Art Metals

4 Credits (3 hrs. lec., 3 hrs. lab.) Fundamentals of conceptualizing and producing utilitarian items in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Skill development through the techniques of sinking, raising, repousse, and piercing to create objects from sheet and stock materials. Includes welding, brazing, soldering, tinning, polishing, and tool making. Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing
