International Studies Area of Concentration, AA

Associate of Arts with Area of Concentration in International Studies

There is a 15 credit hour minimum for this AOC with a one-year foreign language component. The courses completed for the AOC will be applied towards the 18 elective hours required for the AA degree. Students must complete at least 50% of the courses at Lone Star College to receive this AOC designation. AOC courses must be selected from those sections designated in the schedule as international studies sections (IS).
