AFSC 2271 - Evolution of United States Air Force Air and Space Power I


2 Credits (2 hrs. lec., 2 hrs. lab.) Key historical events and milestones in the development of air power as a primary instrument of United States national security. Core values and competencies of leaders in the United States Air Force. Tenets of leadership and ethics. Prerequisite: None
Course Outcomes
1 - Know the key terms and definitions used to describe air and space power.
2 - Know the milestones and historical events, leaders, and technological advancements which mark the evolution and employment of USAF air and space power.
3 - Demonstrate basic verbal and written communication skills and an operational understanding of the Air Force Core Values.
