DAAC 2360 - Clinical-Alcohol/Drug Counseling 3 Credits (18 hrs. ext.) A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Requires LSC liability insurance. Prerequisite: DAAC 1417 and SCWK 1321 Course Outcomes 1 - Master the theory, concepts & skills involving the tools/materials/equipment/procedures/regulations/laws/interactions w/in and among political/economic/environmental/legal systems associated with the particular occupation & the business/industry.
2 - Demonstrate ethical behavior, safety practices, interpersonal and teamwork skills, communicating in the applicable technical language of the occupation and the business or industry.
