DRAM 1120 - Theatre Practicum


1 Credits (3 hrs. lab.) This course is open to all students interested in theatrical production and is recommended for all students participating in productions. Credit is earned for technical work (costuming, lighting, set construction, publicity and make-up), performance work, or other participation as designated by departmental faculty. Course Outcomes
1 - Analyze a play-script for its intellectual and aesthetic content.
2 - Demonstrate the procedures necessary to create a working team of technicians, directors, and actors to mount a given production.
3 - Set up a time table to span the continuum from auditions to performance of a play-script.
4 - Demonstrate the technical skills necessary to mount a production.
5 - Participate in teamwork in mounting a production.
