DSVT 2430 - Cerebral Vascular Evaluation
4 Credits (3 hrs. lec., 2 hrs. lab.) Non-invasive technology for the evaluation and quantification of cerebrovascular disease. Modalities include carotid duplex, periorbital Doppler, and transcranial Doppler. Prerequisite: Diagnostic Medical Sonography, AAS and admission to the certificate program; Corequisite: DSVT 1364 and DSVT 2418
Course Outcomes
1 - Interpret the etiology, signs, symptoms, and treatment for cerebrovascular disease.
2 - Utilize Doppler modalities to evaluate and quantify cerebrovascular disease.
