LGLA 2305 - Interviewing and Investigating 3 Credits (3 hrs. lec.) A study of techniques used to locate, gather, document, and manage information with emphasis on developing interview and investigative skills and the paralegal’s role in interviewing and investigating legal matters. Prerequisite: LGLA 1307 ; College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing Course Outcomes 1 - Employ interviewing techniques with clients and witnesses in legal settings.
2 - Use investigative methods.
3 - Analyze the ethical considerations of the paralegal in interviewing and investigating.
