LGLA 2370 - Rules of Civil Procedure 3 Credits (3 hrs. lec.) An in-depth study of both state and federal rules of civil procedure. Designed to make the paralegal student extremely knowledgeable in locating the proper rules in either jurisdiction. Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing; Departmental approval Course Outcomes 1 - Gain a general understanding of the rules governing civil litigation.
2 - Evaluate and apply appropriate court rules for the jurisdiction.
3 - Determine how to draft documents by reading the appropriate rules of civil procedure.
