Course Outcomes
1. Produce five finger patterns in major and minor keys.
2. Play major and minor scales in selected keys. Play C, G, and Gb major; A and D harmonic minor scales, 1 octave, hands together.
3. Construct and play chords of different qualities.
4. Harmonize a melody, using I and V chords.
5. Perform selected compositions for beginning players.
6. Read music in bass and treble clefs in the grand staff.
7. Perform rhythms in basic time signatures, including simple and compound meters.
