3 Credits (3 hrs. lec.) A general survey of various styles of music of the Americas, including but not limited to jazz, folk, rock, and contemporary music. (5009025326) Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing
Course Outcomes
1. Identify the elements, styles, and musicians representative of music within the chosen style(s).
2. Analyze the elements and structures of music using appropriate terminology.
