QCTC 1303 - Quality Control 3 Credits (3 hrs. lec., 1 hr. lab.) Information on quality control principles and applications. Designed to introduce the student to the quality control profession. The student will be introduced to the use of statistical analysis of data to establish control systems for use in product manufacturing. Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing; MATH 1314 and MCHN 1319 . Course Outcomes 1 - The student will describe the benefits and applications of quality control.
2 - Demonstrate a working knowledge of quality control tools and techniques.
3 - Plan and organize a quality control system.
4 - Analyze the cost of poor quality.
