SRGT 1405 - Introduction to Surgical Technology
4 Credits (3 hrs. lec., 2 hrs. lab.) Orientation to surgical technology theory, surgical pharmacology and anesthesia, technological sciences, and patient care concepts. Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing; MATH 0308
Course Outcomes
1 - Explain the physical, interpersonal, and ethical aspects of the operating room environment.
2 - Relate basic concepts of surgical pharmacology and anesthesia.
