ARTC 1327 - Typography 3 Credits (2 hrs. lec., 4 hrs. lab.) A study of letterforms and typographic concepts as elements of graphic communication. Emphasis on developing a current, practical typographic knowledge based on industry standards. Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing Course Outcomes 1 - Create letter forms.
2 - Solve typographic problems.
3 - Identify a variety of typefaces.
4 - Apply typographic practices
