GEOG 1302 - Human Geography 3 Credits (3 hrs. lec.) This course introduces students to fundamental concepts, skills, and practices of human geography. Place, space, and scale serve as a framework for understanding patterns of human experience. Topics for discussion may include globalization, population and migration, culture, diffusion, political and economic systems, language, religion, gender, and ethnicity. (4507015125) Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing Course Outcomes 1 - Demonstrate an understanding of key concepts and processes in human geography.
2 - Identify how cultural practices shape the landscape.
