SOCI 2389 - Academic Cooperative 3 Credits (1 hr. lec., 6 hrs. ext.) An instructional program designed to integrate on-campus study with practical hands-on experience in sociology. In conjunction with class seminars, the individual student will set specific goals and objectives in the study of human social behavior and/or social institutions. (4501015125) Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing; SOCI 1301 . Course Outcomes 1 - Employ the appropriate methods and technologies that social scientists use to investigate contemporary groups, social institutions, and societies.
2 - Develop and articulate sociological explanations for contemporary social issues.
3 - Investigate and explain differences and commonalities within diverse cultures.
