  • DSAE 2437 - Echocardiograpic Evaluation of Pathology II

    4 Credits (3 hrs. lec., 3 hrs. lab.) A continuation of Echocardiographic Evaluation of Pathology I with emphasis on cardiac disease. A discussion of quantitative measurements and application of 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler and recognition of the sonographic appearances of cardiac disease is stressed.   • DSVT 2418 - Non-Invasive Peripheral Vascular Evaluation

Modalities include venous and arterial duplex and physiologic testing.   • DSVT 2430 - Cerebral Vascular Evaluation

Modalities include carotid duplex, periorbital Doppler, and transcranial Doppler.   • EMSP 2305 - EMS Operations

Knowledge and skills to safely manage multi-casualty incidents and rescue situations; utilize air medical resources; identify hazardous materials and other specialized incidents.   • EMSP 2352 - EMS Research

    3 Credits (3 hrs. lec.) Primary and/or secondary research in current and emerging issues in EMS. Basic research principles, scientific inquiry, and interpretation of professional literature are emphasized.   • EMSP 2358 - Critical Care Paramedic

    3 Credits (3 hrs. lec., 1 hrs. lab.) Prepares healthcare personnel to function as members of a critical care transport team. Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing, EMSP 2143  and EMSP 2361 . 
  

  • EMSP 2359 - EMS Supervision Management
