VTHT 1413 - Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology 4 Credits (2 hrs. lec., 5 hrs. lab.) Gross anatomy of domestic animals including physiological explanations of how each organ system functions. Studies are to develop a practical application of knowledge and its relationship to the diagnoses and treatment of certain pathological problems and surgical conditions. Clinical rotation time is incorporated in the laboratory to develop feeding, handling, and treatment techniques for all domestic animals. Prerequisite: VTHT 1105 , VTHT 1301 , VTHT 2217 AND departmental approval. Course Outcomes 1 - Describe the major anatomical systems of domestic animals. Integrate basic physiological processes with anatomical structures of domestic animals.
