CSME 1420 - Orientation to Facial Specialist Credit Hours: 4 Contact Hours - Lecture: 2 Lab: 7 An overview of the skills and knowledge necessary for the field of facials and skin care. Requires LSC liability insurance. Prerequisite: None, Corequisite: CSME 1421 Student Learning Outcomes 1 - Demonstrate facial and skin care skills.
2 - Practice safety and sanitation according to the rules of the state licensing agency.
3 - Practice professional ethics.
4 - Assess and report on their strengths, preferences, and college and career success attributes.
5 - Identify, describe, and utilize campus support services, systems, and student life opportunities.
6 - Use financial literacy knowledge and skills to create a personal money management plan for college success.
7 - Formulate educational and career goals and apply strategies to advance their goals and college performance.
8 - Create an academic plan and identify the requirements for successful completion of their academic plan.
9 - Establish collegial relationships with LSCS faculty, staff, and peers
