DHYG 1431 - Preclinical Dental Hygiene

Contact Hours - Lecture: 2 Lab: 6
Foundational knowledge for performing clinical skills on patients with emphasis on procedures and rationale for performing dental hygiene care. Introduction to ethical principles as they apply to dental hygiene care. Requires LSC liability insurance.
Prerequisite:  College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing; Departmental approval; Acceptance into the dental hygiene program; Corequisite: DHYG 1201 , DHYG 1203 , and DHYG 1304 .
