FIRT 1391 - Special Topics: Basic Wildland Firefighting Credit Hours: 3 Contact Hours - Lecture: 3 Terminology and techniques used in wild-land firefighting. Includes wildfire suppression, fire behaviors, mop-up techniques and benefits, safety, and incident management systems. Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing Student Learning Outcomes 1 - Define wildland fire suppression terminology.
