A study of disease processes and the therapeutic properties of the drugs used in treatment.
Prerequisite: Admission into program, PHRA 1102 , PHRA 1305 , PHRA 1309 , PHRA 1413 ; Recommended: ENGL 1301 .
Student Learning Outcomes
1 - Define various disease processes, patterns, and pathogenic organisms.
2 - Identify and describe the various types of drug utilized in the treatment of each disease process.
3 - Design an appropriate pharmaceutical care plan.
