POFT 1309 - Administrative Office Procedures I Credit Hours: 3 Contact Hours - Lecture: 2 Lab: 3 Study of current office procedures, duties, and responsibilities applicable to an office environment. Prerequisite: Keyboarding proficiency recommended Student Learning Outcomes 1 - Analyze case studies and identify human relation skills in resolving problem situations, developing teamwork, and establishing positive work attitudes.
2 - Apply correct procedures for handling incoming and outgoing mail and select appropriate services for shipping and mailing.
3 - Apply office management skills to business simulations.
