Introduction to respiratory care fundamentals.
Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing, Program Admission. Corequisite: RSPT 1166 , RSPT 1207 , RSPT 1213

1 - Utilize data related to patient assessment.
2 - Prepare equipment for function, operation, and cleanliness.
3 - Identify equipment malfunctions.
4 - Maintain patient records.
5 - Perform infection control, vital signs, physical assessment, medical gas therapy, and humidity/aerosol therapy.
