AIRP 2349 - Instructor Ground School Credit Hours: 3 Contact Hours - Lecture: 3 Skill development in the fundamentals of teaching and learning in an aviation- oriented environment. Introduction to the techniques of instruction and analysis of flight maneuvers. Preparation for the Federal Aviation Administration Airman Certification Standards for Certified Flight Instructor. Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing; AIRP 2337 , AIRP 2239 ; Commercial pilot certification is a prerequisite to further flight instruction. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate the fundamentals of instruction through lesson presentations.
2. Meet aeronautical knowledge areas required for the Federal Aviation Administration Certified Flight Instructor Practical Test.
3. Demonstrate proficiency in knowledge required by the Federal Aviation Administration for the Certified Flight Instructor Written Test.
