The Multimedia Design program introduces students to the different facets of digital media technologies. Instructional topics include exposure to graphic design, web design, animation, and visual effects with video production. Students learn to apply creativity and technical skillsets to produce visual communication across a variety of media types. Additionally, instruction allows students to gain insight into marketing methodologies, user interface design, and technology project management, preparing them for various professional settings.
By completing the program, students will earn as many as three awards:

Visual Communication, AAS

Prerequisite: Completion of the Level 2 Certificate in one of the following areas: 3D Animation Program , Graphic Design Program , Motion Graphics Program , Multimedia Designer Program , Video and Post Production Program , Web Design Program

Digital Photography, Enhanced Skills Certificate (ESC)
[C3_DPHT certificate offered at LSC-CyFair, LSC-Kingwood, and LSC-North Harris]
This optional certificate program is available to students pursuing the Visual Communication AAS and desire to develop skills in digital photography. Completion of curriculum and awarding of certificate are concurrent with the Visual Communication AAS degree.
