RSPT 1240 - Advanced Cardiopulmonary Anatomy and Physiology

Provides an advanced presentation of anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system.
Prerequisite: Admission to the program; Corequisite: RSPT 1166 , RSPT 1201 , RSPT 1213 , RSPT 1310 .

1. Explain advanced concepts of cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology. 2. Describe the neurological control of breathing. 3. Differentiate ventilation/perfusion concepts. 4. Summarize principles of gas transport.
