A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. This course may be offered only by a college with a program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care Education (CoARC) or successor organizations. Requires LSC liability insurance.
Prerequisite: College Level Readiness in Reading AND Writing, RSPT 1166, RSPT 1201, RSPT 1213, RSPT 1240, RSPT 1310; Corequisite: RSPT 1225, RSPT 1311, RSPT 2414.
